Draft classification card

I was working as a civilian at Bowman Field in Louisville for the Army Air Force. On Oct. 12th I received a letter of recommendation from the administrative assistant of Army Air Force Supply. I mention this because it is one of two letters that helped me to be transferred to the Army Air Force after my induction into the armed forces. At Bowman Field I worked in the supply warehouse, filling orders, putting up stock, inspecting items for use and various other duties. All supplies were for aircraft including maintenance and personnel.
